Beloved former Wenonah High School coach passes away

Former Wenonah High School head football coach Ronald Cheatham

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Former Wenonah High School head football coach Ronald Cheatham has died.

Coach Cheatham died overnight in his sleep.

Coach retired before the 2019 season.

Cheatham coached at Wenonah for 30 years, coaching and growing former great players like current Pinson Valley coach Sam Shade and New York Jets lineman Quinnen Williams. Both were Alabama standouts.
