BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - There’s a local shift in high school football schedules after the Jackson-Olin football team is in a 14-day quarantine following a student-athlete tested positive for COVID-19.
Friday’s scheduled football game against Calera High School will be canceled.
Staff members are also included in the quarantine.
The Mustangs were scheduled to play Calera. With Friday’s game canceled, the Eagles took the opportunistic road and added a Saturday night game with Mountain Brook, whose Friday night game at Huntsville was canceled due to weather. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
