PIEDMONT, Ala. (WBRC) - Piedmont city leaders informed people, via Facebook, that a poll worker who worked on runoff Election day Tuesday tested positive for COVID-19.

The poll worker has been hospitalized.

City leaders say their legal team advised them to notify anyone who voted at the court location Tuesday.

They also said all of the poll workers wore masks Tuesday.
