2 teenagers shot at Tuscaloosa apartment complex, suspect arrested

Two teens shot in Tuscaloosa

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - Tuscaloosa police say a 16 year old and an 18 year old were both seriously hurt in a shooting at an apartment complex.

Officers say the teens were shot at Broadmore Gardens on James Harrison Parkway around 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

One of the victims was found at a nearby gas station, while the other remained at the scene. They were taken to DCH with serious injuries and are currently being treated.

Police say arrest warrants were obtained on 17-year-old Jkerion Williams for attempted murder, first-degree assault and shooting into an unoccupied vehicle.

Williams is being charged as an adult and was booked in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on $80,000 bond.

Authorities say this shooting does not appear to be related to other incidents in the past few weeks, and was reported to have stemmed from a personal disagreement between Williams and the victims.
