TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - Police in Tuscaloosa have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a man Tuesday night.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department was called to DCH around 9 p.m. after a shooting victim was brought to the hospital in a personal vehicle.

The victim - identified as 44-year-old Henry McAlpine - died at the hospital early Wednesday morning.

Officers determined the shooting happened in the 3000 block of Elm Street.

After an investigation by the violent crimes unit, 24-year-old Omar Fowler was arrested and charged with McAlpine’s murder.
