BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - One person was shot Saturday night at the Bill Harris arena, after a fight broke out backstage during a concert headlined by Atlanta based rapper Lil Baby.

According to the Birmingham Police Department, at around 10:20 p.m. a physical altercation between the rapper’s promoters and entourage members escalated, resulting in one person being shot.

The victim was taken to UAB Hospital with life threatening injuries.

According to police, there were no injuries to any concert patrons or citizens in the area.

Dramatic video caught gunshots that sent people running for cover.
