SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - A date has been set for Shelby County commission to vote on the future of the Coosa River Express bridge.

The bridge would connect I-65 to Highway 280.

The Talladega County Commission has already approved the licensing for the bridge to move forward, but the project must have licensing approved by both counties.

The Shelby County Commission is scheduled to vote on the matter March 23 at 6:00 p.m.
