3 people charged in weekend homicide at Tuscaloosa apartment complex

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - A third person has been charged in a weekend homicide at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex.
Police have charged 21-year-old Jacorri Kenandre Spencer and 23-year-old Geunte Dayshaun Constant on Monday. Spencer is charged with felony murder and first-degree robbery. Constant is charged with first-degree hindering prosecution.
Cpt. Jack Kennedy announced Tuesday morning 20-year-old Ledell Tavari Jackson has been charged with capital murder.
Police were called to Legacy at Country Club Apartments around 10:30 p.m. Sunday. The complex is located on Mimosa Park Road.
Police say the victim has been identified by family members as 21-year-old Darius Garner.
Police say the victim was taken to DCH after being shot once. Despite life-saving efforts, Garner did not survive.
