Man killed in wreck that shut down I-20 WB in Cleburne Co.

CLEBURNE COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - UPDATE: Richard Alvin Brown, 64, from Monroe, Georgia, was killed in an accident between a UPS tractor trailer and an ALDOT truck. Three other people were taken to a hospital for injuries.

The crash happened around 10:30 Thursday morning.

I-20 westbound lanes in Cleburne County at mile marker 200 is shut down and drivers are being detoured at Exit 205.

The Cleburne County EMA advises drivers to use Hwy. 78 or Hwy. 46 to avoid the area.

The accident is still under investigation by ALEA Troopers.
