TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - A Tuscaloosa woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident Monday morning.

Officers say around 10:50 a.m. 63-year-old Rose Lee Richardson was driving on 25th Avenue East near Tamaha Trace.

Witnesses say it looked like Richardson's car veered sharply to the left, ran off the road, and hit a tree.

Richardson was transported to DCH Medical Center where she died.
