VESTAVIA HILLS, AL (WBRC) - Vestavia Hills girls soccer coach Brigid Meadow celebrated a huge milestone Monday.
Meadow, who has coached the Rebels for 15 years, won her 300th game as a head coach after her team defeated Hoover 4-1 in the AHSAA soccer playoffs.
“I mean, it’s exciting, I haven’t had time to enjoy it yet because we’re still in season. I love what I do. I love these girls and my coaching staff is amazing so I never thought this was possible, I never even considered it,” Brigid Meadow said.
Vestavia Hills will host Oak Mountain Saturday at 5 p.m. in the Class 7A quarterfinals. The winner advances to the Final Four in Huntsville next week.
