BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - The forecast is looking dry and warm for the next few days. The sky is clear Monday night with overnight lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
FIRST ALERT: Our next rain chance will likely develop Thursday evening and into the overnight hours of Friday morning. We could see a few thunderstorms with this next system, but we are not expecting any strong or severe storms. If something changes, you’ll be alerted and we will have updates on the WBRC First Alert Weather App. High temperatures will be slightly cooler in the upper 70s thanks to clouds and higher rain chances. Spotty showers and isolated storms are still possible on Friday.
Dry Weekend: The upcoming weekend is shaping up to remain mostly dry and very warm and that’s great news for those at Talladega. Temperatures are expected to climb back into the 80s. Saturday should remain dry, but data hints at a band of showers possibly moving in across north Alabama on Sunday. For now I’m keeping it dry locally and I don’t see much of an impact for the BHM26.2 which is good news for runners. We trend warmer as we head into next week with high temperatures well into the 80s.
