B’ham Bulls to face Huntsville Havoc in SPHL Finals

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - It’s going to be an all Alabama Southern Professional Hockey League Finals.

After dropping their first game against the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs, the Birmingham Bulls managed to win the next two games in the series. With last night’s win against Roanoke, the Bulls clenched their spot in the President’s Cup Finals.

Game 1 of the finals will be played in Birmingham on Friday, April 26. Birmingham earned the first home game as they were the second seed in the overall tournament and Huntsville was the third seed.

The Bulls were 39-15-2 during the regular season and 4-2 in the playoffs. This year’s success earned Bull’s Coach Jamey Hicks the SPHL Coach of the Year.

Birmingham’s Josh Harris was also named the SPHL Most Valuable Player this year. Harris finished the year with 63 goals.
