HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - A former Huntsville teacher on a fugitive warrant for murder is back behind bars.

Milton Tyson did show up for a bond hearing Monday but somehow slipped out of the courtroom and never showed back up. He was recaptured Wednesday and is now in the Madison County Jail without bond.

Tyson is charged with murdering a father of two, Marcus White, who was found dead in his front yard in February 2017.

Tyson is a former special education teacher at Lee High School.
