TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - The beloved Paul W. Bryant Museum will be closed temporarily starting Friday. Just to reiterate this is not a forever thing of course ! The museum will only be closed all of February. So all month long you won’t be allowed inside.
But the good news is when they do reopen in March, you’ll be walking into a new and improved museum. The museum director said it’s closing for renovations inspired to make the facility more technically attractive.
Fans will be able to check out a very hands on interactive touch screen wall, displaying all things Alabama football history once the project is finished.
“We all the time feel like we need to change things, make it different but also want to tell that story from the first year of Alabama football until this last season with Coach Saban. Hopefully it will be a good reason to come back and if you haven’t been before it will be a good time to come with your family and friends, said Ken Gaddy the museum’s director.
The idea here was to start on the museum changes now, so it can be ready in time for Alabama’s A-Day game or much sooner.
