Plane makes emergency landing on I-20 in Talladega Co.

EASTABOGA, AL (WBRC) - The FAA confirms a single-engine airplane made an emergency landing this afternoon on I-20 in Talladega County.

The plane landed at mile marker 173 in the westbound lanes at 4:21 p.m.

There were no injuries.

The FAA says the plane carrying two people took off from Talladega Municipal Airport before the emergency landing.

The agency is investigating the incident.
