J-P: Spotty showers expected Saturday

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - The rain will continue on and off tonight and through tomorrow. Temperatures are holding steady in the 50s with rain chances around 30 percent this evening.

We will see some additional showers tomorrow as a low pressure area rotates across the state. The rain chances are around 30 percent Saturday. The rain will be off and on through the day with highs in the mid-50s. No severe weather is in the forecast. Clouds will hold on through the afternoon and evening with also some occasional drizzle. Drier weather is expect Saturday evening.

By Sunday, we’ll see the return of some sunshine with highs in the mid-50s. The longer range forecast looks dry. We will see plenty of sunshine Monday through Friday with temperatures near 60 degrees.

At this point, next weekend looks mainly dry with Christmas Eve and Christmas saying mild and also dry. We’ll keep you posted on any changes in the forecast on our WBRC First Alert weather app. Have a great weekend.
