Birmingham police officer involved in wreck

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -A Birmingham police officer was involved in an accident around 7 a.m. Thursday at Daniel Payne Drive and I-65.
The officer's vehicle had damage to the driver's side door.
It appears the officer’s vehicle may have collided with the back of an 18 wheeler.
We don't know the officer's condition right now.
