PELHAM, AL (WBRC) - Citizens are inside right now vocalizing and sharing opinions.

Ideas include people requesting city wide WiFi, of course people complaining about the traffic here in Pelham, and some even asking for updated restrooms at public facilities.

The event was set up in stations. One had charts listing different aspects of the city and folks got to write in their thoughts and whether that area needed improvement and how it could be improved.

Lindsay Puckett is the principal planner with Regional Planning Commission and she says it will take the regional planning commission about 9 to 12 months to draw up the comprehensive plan.

“We will take all the data and we will craft different topic goals and actions so that the city can then use that to pull projects from,” she explains.

If you could not make it tonight there will be plenty of other opportunities for you to weigh in the options. Again, this is about a year long process.
