TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - During his weekly press conference Monday afternoon, Nick Saban gave a brief update on Tua Tagovailoa’s condition. “He’s probably better this week than he was last week," Saban said.
“We’ll see how he does in practice and continue to evaluate, and as long as the medical staff clears him we’ll keep working him to try and get ready to play in the game.”
The sophomore QB was at practice on Monday afternoon.
Saturday, during the Tide’s 39-10 victory over Missouri, Tua Tagovailoa left the game in the third quarter after going down on a non-contact play. A silent Bryant-Denny Stadium watched the Alabama QB limp to the tent on the sideline, but Saban reiterated on Monday that he could have gone back in the game.
