WBRC FOX6 News partners with Birmingham Salvation Army to host Hurricane Michael Relief Drive

WBRC FOX6 News announced today that it will be partnering with the Birmingham Salvation Army to host a Hurricane Michael relief phone bank. The phone bank will be held on Tuesday, October 16 from 6 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. CT.

All donations made will go directly to Hurricane Michael relief. The number to call is (205) 583-4303. Only monetary donations will be accepted.

“So many of us grew up spending vacations on the shores of the Gulf Coast. The region is special to so many of us and we view it as our mission to help those in need in any way we can,” said Collin R. Gaston, WBRC FOX6 Vice President and General Manager.

Birmingham Salvation Army Public Relations Director, Lori Cook, added, “The Salvation Army is honored to be able to serve our neighbors that have been impacted by Hurricane Michael. Salvation Army staff and volunteers will provide food, water, cleanup kits, emotional support, and other critical services to survivors and relief workers in communities across the Florida Panhandle.”
