TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - It is the perfect scenario, first time Bama gets the ball in a game, the Tide score a touchdown.
It has happened in all six games this season, Bama gets into the endzone on its opening drive. For the Tide it is a sign of what happened during game week preparation
“I think the coaches have done a good job of developing most first plays in a game which you want to run from a script stand point,” said Bama head coach Nick Saban. “It’s been a real asset for us to be able to get off to a good start in games.”
Setting the tone is critical to Bama’s fast start in games and puts the opponent at an early disadvantage. The Tide look to make it seven straight games scoring on its opening possession Saturday night at six o’clock against Missouri at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
