TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - OK, you’re less than thrilled about Saturday’s 11 a.m. kickoff and you are underwhelmed about the opponent - Louisiana-Lafayette. What you should be thrilled about will unfold just before noon when Jalen Hurts trots onto the field to spell Tua Tagovailoa -unless Coach Saban pulls a fast one and starts Jalen.

When Hurts enters the game, it will mark him playing in his fifth game this season, which prevents him from redshirting and using this year at a different school. Also, it will officially signify that he is remaining with the team for the rest of the season.

My take?

As Jalen trots onto the field, he’s doing more than preparing to play some football - he’s preparing to tell Bama fans that he’s the ultimate teammate and loyal Bama player.

Come Saturday, Jalen Hurts will deserve the biggest ovation of the day. I hope you keep your eyes peeled for Jalen on Saturday and offer him your appreciation.
