CULLMAN COUNTY, AL (WBRC) - Right now is homecoming week for several schools in our area, and some students in Fairview have officially won the unofficial title of homecoming kings and queens!

This year, one of Fairview High School's dress up days was "Character Day."

A group of cousins, who are also on the football team, decided to recreate the iconic movie, “Napoleon Dynamite.”

Amber Black says the kids are completely obsessed with the movie.

“We had the best time shooting them!” said Black. “While we were ‘reenacting’ the pics they were quoting the scenes. We laugh a lot in our family and the kids were hysterical the entire time.”

She said they figured the people in Fairview would get tickled over this, but did not realize the photos would go viral.

They have actually been planning this since last year.

“Last year Mase and Dayne reenacted ‘Step Brothers,’ so we knew that we wanted everyone in on it next year, so we actually knew last year we were doing ‘Napoleon Dynamite,’” said Black. “All the kids are siblings/cousins so it was perfect! Dayne, Uncle Rico, was a no-brainer because like Uncle Rico, Dayne is our QB. After that I tried to match up everyone else based on looks and their personalities.”

Black says adding in Lawfanduh was a last minute pinch. She says Donte Dumas is best friends with all the other kids and is the receiver/running back for the team.

“All the kids are football players and if I had to guess, their coaches have probably never been prouder of them,” said Black.

Here is the list of kids and characters they played:

Napoleon Dynamite- Mason Black

Kip Dynamite- Bryson Chamness

Pedro- Gannon Black

Uncle Rico- Dayne Black

Lawfanduh- Donte Dumas

Deb- Kaylee Chamness
