BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - It's another foggy morning for many counties. Most of the counties affected are south of the I-20/59 corridor. Look for clouds to be increasing today with highs warming into the upper 60s and winds out of the southeast at 5-10 mph.
Tonight should be cloudy with lows in the 50s and southeast winds around 10 mph.
A line of showers and thunderstorms moves into our area Tuesday morning into the afternoon hours. While we aren't anticipating severe storms, we could get gusty winds and much needed rainfall with this system.
FIRST ALERT: Cold air is forecast to move in after the rain. Highs are expected to drop into the 40s to 50s Wednesday through the weekend with overnight temps dropping into the 20s to low 30s Thursday through the weekend. A reinforcing trough of cold air Friday night into Saturday may also bring a few snow flurries into north Alabama. Stay tuned for more on that.
