BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

The selection committee released its final rankings for this year's College Football Playoff.

1. Clemson

2. Oklahoma

3. Georgia

4. Alabama

Rounding out the rest of the top 10:

Ohio State jumped to 5th, Wisconsin fell to 6th. Also falling was Auburn, who went from 2nd to 7th in the latest rankings. The rest of the top 10 includes USC at  No. 8, Penn State at No. 9, and Miami at No. 10.

The playoff picture began to take shape on Saturday.

Oklahoma secured its spot by knocking off TCU in the Big 12 Championship Game.

Georgia ended Auburn’s championship hopes in the SEC Championship game.

Clemson cemented its top seed by taking out Miami in the ACC Championship Game

Ohio State earned the B1G Championship by beating Wisconsin.

Alabama squeaked back into the playoff picture despite not participating in the SEC title game.

Playoff rules prohibit the No. 1 seed from being placed at a geographical disadvantage so Clemson will play Alabama in New Orleans, LA at the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1

Oklahoma and Georgia will travel to Pasadena, CA to play in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1.
