BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - After experiencing a lot of variety in our temperature readings this morning, we are looking at another day with mostly sunny skies. Expect highs today to top out near 69 degrees and light winds
Tonight should be mostly clear with lows near 48 and light winds.
We are anticipating additional cloud cover to move in Wednesday, out ahead of our next wet weather system. The rain isn't expect though until Thursday. Highs are expected to be pretty nice for our long range forecast, with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s to 50s.
Our showers could linger through the morning hours on Friday, especially for the southern tier of counties in the state. If you're driving south on I-65 Friday, you could get some showers on the way toward Montgomery.
The rain should be gone by the weekend. It's shaping up to be very nice out there Saturday and Sunday, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s and lows in the 40s to 60s.
