BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Birmingham police have identified a homicide victim.
Police say, Rakeem Alexander, 22, was shot and killed at Southside Apartments in the 2900 block of Clairmont Avenue Monday night.
Detectives learned Alexander lived at the apartment complex with his grandfather and before the shooting happened, several people were inside the apartment with the victim before multiple shots were fired.
Detectives also learned the victim was selling narcotics at this location.
There are no suspects in custody at this time.
