(WBRC) - It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Tree lighting ceremonies and parades are set for the coming week around the Birmingham area. Pelham Community Christmas Tree Lighting 
Date: November 27, 2017
Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena 
Lighting of tree will take place at 6:30 p.m.

City of Hoover Tree Lighting Ceremony 
Date: November 30, 2017
5:00 pm
Hoover City Hall - Main Parking Lot
Parking at Hoover Public Library 
Shuttles to Event Site

Alabama State Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Date: December 01, 2017 in Montgomery , AL 
5:30 p.m. Governor Kay Ivey will light the State's official Christmas tree during a special ceremony on the front steps of the State Capitol.

Mountain Brook 2017 Holiday Parade 
Date: December 3, 2017 
Time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM CST

Homewood Christmas Parade and Lighting of the Star and Christmas Tree 
Date: December 5, 2017 
Time: 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM 
Parade travels through downtown, ends with lighting of the Star at the top of 18th Street.
The Lighting of the Christmas Tree at City Hall follows the parade.

Irondale 2017 Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting
Date: December 9, 2017 
11:00 am - 12:30 pm
The parade makes its way through the residential streets of downtown Irondale, ends in front of City Hall, with a Tree Lighting Ceremony at approximately 11:30 a.m.
