Hot off the heels of summer sensation, "Siesta Key," MTV today announced the return of its "Shore" franchise with "Floribama Shore." The "Shore" franchise is an MTV global phenomenon that features such hits around the world as "Geordie Shore" in the UK, "Gandia Shore" in Spain, "Warsaw Shore" in Poland, "Acapulco Shore" in Mexico and "Super Shore." From SallyAnn Salsano's 495 Productions, the team behind the legendary "Jersey Shore," MTV continues to double down on programming that celebrates youth culture.
The eight-episode run of "MTV Floribama Shore" will debut on Monday, November 27th! Janice talked with Candace and Jeremiah from the new show to get the scoop. Set in the Florida Panhandle along the beach that stretches all the way to Alabama, "MTV Floribama Shore" is the story of eight young adults who come to spend the summer in the hottest beach town on the Gulf Coast, Panama City Beach, to party it up and put the real world on hold for just a little bit longer. But each is armed with incredible life experiences and standing at a crossroads, whether it's ending a relationship, tasting independence for the first time, or trying to escape the past. This coming of age story captures the very real thrill and angst of being young and trying to figure out the future with a group of people you'll come to call family.
The Cast of "MTV Floribama Shore" includes Jeremiah Buoni - age 22 from Amelia Island, FL; Codi Butts - age 25 from Westminster, SC; Kortni Gilson - age 21 from Panama City Beach, FL; Aimee Hall - age 24 from Perdido, AL; Kirk Medas - age 25 from Atlanta, GA; Nilsa Prowant - age 23 from Panama City Beach, FL; Candace Rice - 24 from Memphis, TN; and Gus Smyrnios - age 22 from Tallahassee, FL.
