BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Embattled U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore speaking at a revival in south Alabama Tuesday night.
He preached for the most part and briefly addressed the sexual misconduct allegations against him.
Moore told the crowd of supporters that the country has got to go back to the understanding of the relevance of God. He says right now, the press just wants to talk about the allegations he's facing.
He jokingly told the crowd he's the only one who can unite Democrats and Republicans because he says he seems to be opposed by both. Moore told the crowd both parties are spending millions to try and get rid of him.
"They've spent over $30 million to try and take me out. They've done everything they could and now they are together to try to keep me from going to Washington," Moore said.
Moore didn't take any questions after the event. He's remaining steadfast in his decision to not drop out of the race saying on Twitter the fight has just begun against those who are trying to derail his campaign.
