BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Another beautiful day is underway and temperatures will reach the middle and upper 60s Tuesday afternoon. A few locations will top off around 70 degrees. Not quite as chilly tonight and lows in the 40s and a few upper 30s northeast.

Clouds increase Wednesday as a weak cold front approaches from the north. Temperatures top off once again in the middle and upper 60s. A FIRST ALERT for a small shower chance for areas near the highways 278 corridor between 5-10 p.m.

Expect decreasing clouds on Thursday and mild temperatures again.

Friday starts off chillier and patchy frost is possible. Temperatures rebound significantly during the afternoon hours and rise into the lower 70s.

Rain associated with our next cold front moves in on Saturday. College football games look damp at this time.

Sunday will be better in terms of it being drier, but it will be quite chilly. Temperatures start off on Sunday in the middle 30s for the Magic City Half Marathon, 5K and one mile run. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

FIRST ALERT on Monday morning because a freeze is possible.
