FIRST ALERT: Chilly temperatures tonight with fog forming

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

The forecast is looking clear and chilly Thursday night with lows in the upper 30s and lower 40s. We are already beginning to see some patchy fog across the area.

After a chilly start, temperatures will reach the lower 60s during the afternoon. The weather for high school football games will remain chilly. Make sure you have a jacket. Temperatures will quickly fall into the 40s.

First Alert: It is possible we could see some patchy frost early Saturday for places north of I-20. Expect highs in the mid 60s. The weather will be almost perfect for Veterans Day. No rain is expected at the Auburn or Alabama games. Temperatures by Sunday will reach the lower 60s with morning lows in the mid 40s.

Temperatures will reach the upper 60s by Monday with mostly sunny skies. Expect a gradual warming trend next week with highs in the lower 70s.
