BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - The forecast will continue to remain cool, cloudy, and soggy. We're not expecting much sunshine through Thursday. In fact, the cloud bases will remain at around 2,000ft or lower.
Expect spotty showers Tuesday night and again Wednesday. The air temperature and dewpoints are close together making for some low visibility in spots - especially in higher terrain.
Expect overnight lows in the mid 50s with some patchy fog expected. We will likely escape much of the rain during the morning hours with rain spreading areawide during the afternoon.
Rain chances will climb to 60-percent with more rain expected during the evening hours. Temperatures will reach 60 during the afternoon. The cool front will finally begin to clear the area by Thursday.
Colder temperatures are coming Thursday. Expect clearing skies during the afternoon with highs around 63. Friday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 60s. No rain is expected for high school football games.
Weekend Forecast: We'll see mostly sunny skies for Saturday with highs in highs in the mid 60s. Veteran's Day events should be just fine. We'll see only a small chance for rain. Rain chances will increase by Sunday with spotty showers again in the forecast.
