HOKES BLUFF, AL (WBRC) -

Hokes Bluff police say a child who ran to get help at a neighbor's home led them to a murder-suicide.

Chief Mitchell Hill says officers responded to the home in the 5800 block of Main Street just after 1 a.m. Monday with the help of Glencoe police.

A call from a neighbor's home indicated a man had a gun and was threatening others in the home.

When police got to the home they found the bodies of Tiffany Jean Johnson, 30, and Jonathon David Nabors, 33.

Johnson died from multiple gunshot wounds and Naboors died of a single gunshot that was self-inflicted, according to authorities.

The two lived together and Hill says the shooting appeared to have stemmed from a domestic argument.

Authorities have not revealed how the child is related to either person.
