TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - More than a hundred people gathered in Tuscaloosa to better address care for people with Alzheimer's.
Organizers designed the conference to specifically to help caregivers of Alzheimer's patients.
They wanted those people to have a better idea how people with Alzheimer's feel about having the disease.
"It also allows them to get information to where they can handle it. Cause being a caregiver is a very stressful job," Vicki Kerr, executive director of Caring Days said.
Organizers hope to hold a similar one-day conference next year.
