CENTER POINT, AL (WBRC) -

Deputies in Jefferson County arrested a 20-year-old Center Point man suspected in a burglary.

Investigators identified him as Jordan Robinson.

The victim came home Monday afternoon to the 800 block of Park Brook Trail where she found the suspect in her apartment. Deputies say the suspect left the unit on foot.

The victim gave a description to deputies and they managed to find him at the rear of the complex. After a short foot chase, deputies took him into custody.

Investigators found a bag of marijuana in his pocket.

Deputies say the suspect told them he needed a place to "chill" and charge his phone. He turned the heat on and took a nap before being interrupted by the resident.

Robinson faces charges of third-degree burglary, attempting to elude, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was held at the Jefferson County Jail until he posted bond.
