Two teenagers in jail after police say the robbed a gas station in Tuscaloosa Friday night.
Officers were on routine patrol in the area of 19th St. and Dinah Washington Avenue when they saw two males fitting the description of the subjects in a robbery at the the Chevron Service Station at 1500 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

As officers approached, the suspects tried to run away. After a brief foot pursuit, the suspects were caught and taken in for questioning.
After the interview, Luther Bernard Watkins Jr, 18 and a 16-year-old accomplice were charged with first-degree robbery.
They are being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail.
