Police say an arson suspect wanted in Tuscaloosa has been arrested.
Jacquantis Dewayne Noland-Turner is accused of setting fire to his ex-girlfriend's home while she was inside. Tuscaloosa investigators had been looking for him since last week.
Police say Noland-Turner kicked in the door of his 18-year-old ex-girlfriend's house. She reportedly locked herself in the bathroom.
Noland-Turner is accused of beating the walls with a baseball bat trying to get her to come out and threatening to burn the house down.
Police say the woman told them she smelled gas and smoke. She was able to get out of the house safely.
Noland-Turner is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on charges that include arson.
