Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the lower 80s. The record is actually 90 degrees. A cool front will track across the area Tuesday night into Wednesday. While we will see a few more clouds across the area, I do not anticipate much rainfall.
Wednesday should be mostly cloudy with highs around 70 degrees. Expect milder temperatures on Thursday with highs in the mid 60s. Temperatures will warm into the upper 60s to near 70 on Friday. Forecast models are indicating increasing rain chances Friday evening.
FIRST ALERT: Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Saturday. While I do not see a tornado threat with this system, it is likely we will have a few stronger storms. The rain will arrive during the morning and become more widespread during the afternoon and evening. Highs will reach 70 Friday with lows in the mid 50s. Periods of heavy rain and occasional gusty winds are the primary threats. We will continue to see some spotty showers on Sunday with highs in the upper 60s.
Long Range: Temperatures will likely continue to remain above average for the next few months. We could have a few marginally cool days but the overall theme is above average temperatures through the spring.
