Vehicles shot at Anniston club

ANNISTON, AL (WBRC) -

Four parked vehicles have been shot outside a club in Anniston, according to the Anniston Police Department.

Around 2:30 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a call of shots fired at Club Empire located at 3800 Al Hwy. 202 in Anniston. When they arrived they found the vehicles had been hit by gunshots.

There was an altercation inside the club, according to police but they cannot confirm if it was related to the shots fired. 

No witnesses have come forward and the incident is still under investigation.

    Good news for Cullman shoppers: several stores damaged in the March hail storm are set to open in the next couple weeks. The parking lot is still pretty empty, but the store signs are fixed, the roofs have been repaired, and instead of 'closed' signs, there are now signs that say 'coming soon.'
