Birmingham police are searching for the people that say opened fire in a park, injuring an 11-year-old and one other person. Witnesses say that people in two cars opened fired at Grayson Park. Clare Huddleston will have more on what people in the community are saying about shootings in the area.

Tonight, a public meeting in Tuscaloosa will give residents more information about the future of the school system. Terri Brewer will be live at 5:30 a.m. with more about the meeting where parents can directly ask school system administrators questions.

We’ll also tell you more about a Lawrence County woman who police say killed a family pet to fake miscarriage. Anita Parker is accused of faking a pregnancy and then mutilating the family’s Chihuahua. Her boyfriend found the dog’s body in a garbage can.
