Bessemer PD may be looking for more than one suspect in triple shooting

Bessemer police are investigating a triple shooting. Police say three men were shot in the 800 block of the 5th Avenue.

Greg Bryant's friend who was also injured in the shooting that left the UAB football player brain dead is speaking out about the moments that led up to it. He told a Florida TV station that the shooting came out of nowhere. We'll hear more from him this morning.

Some residents in Tuscaloosa's Springbrook community are raising concerns about a strip mall planned for the area. There will be a meeting Monday with developers to discuss the retail space.

Also from Tuscaloosa, the city school system is scheduled to begin its search for a superintendent search. A search proposal is on the agenda for tonight's school board meeting.
