Here's what you saw on Good Day Alabama:
JEH JEH LIVE - Jeh Jeh joined us live from the Shades Valley YMCA with Mickal Thomas. For more information, call 205-870-9622.
VET SPECIALIST - Dr. Jerome Williams and Dr. Casey Ray. Dr. Ray discuss heart disease in pets and echocardiograms.... Heart disease is common in all dogs but especially small dogs. The main symptom is exercise intolerance. He showed us how doctors check for heart disease in your pets with an ultrasound machine. Dr. Ray graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and quickly moved the greater Boston, Massachusetts, area for an internship. After which he completed a three-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care. Following the residency, he served as a staff criticalist at large multispecialty referral hospital north of Boston. Later, he moved back to Birmingham. While working at a local specialty hospital, he decided to work more closely with the veterinary community and offer my services to clients at their regular veterinary hospital. He offers diagnostic ultrasound at your regular veterinary clinic; assists with small, specialty procedures that would otherwise need a referral, and consult with veterinarians on their cases and other topics. Dr. Jerome Williams is at Red Mountain Animal Clinic. For more information, call 205-326-8080 or www.redmountainanimalclinic.com/.
