3 charged in Dora teen's murder due in court

The three people charged with murder in the death of Dora teen Nicholas Hawkins are expected in court today.  Danny Lee Jarvis, Cory Daniel Conner and Joshua Adam Reese have primary hearings and bond hearings at 9 a.m. Ronda Robinson is live with the latest at 7 a.m.

Oxford leaders are defending the city’s new restroom ordinance as the Human Rights Coalition attacks it. The ordinance makes it illegal for people to use a restroom that doesn’t match the gender on their birth certificate.

The Vestavia City School system may have a new logo for its high school. The new logo is a play off of the contested Rebels mascot

Authorities are still searching for a person of interest in the deadly shooting of an Irondale mother. They are looking for the driver of a black Nissan 350-Z who they say picked up Anthony Lanier Kelly after Melinda Searight was shot to death.
