Oxford leaders are defending the city’s new restroom ordinance as the Human Rights Coalition attacks it. The ordinance makes it illegal for people to use a restroom that doesn’t match the gender on their birth certificate.
The Vestavia City School system may have a new logo for its high school. The new logo is a play off of the contested Rebels mascot.
Authorities are still searching for a person of interest in the deadly shooting of an Irondale mother. They are looking for the driver of a black Nissan 350-Z who they say picked up Anthony Lanier Kelly after Melinda Searight was shot to death.
