Irondale homicide investigation
Police are investigating after a woman's teenage child finds her dead in their home. Police have not yet released the woman's identity but say she is 42-years-old and they believe it is a domestic situation. Police are now searching for the victim's boyfriend. We're working now to learn more.
Woman rescued after brutal beating
A Jefferson County woman is thankful to be alive tonight after deputies rescued her from domestic violence. It's a heartbreaking story of abuse deputies say lasted a day and a half. A 37-year-old man is charged with the beating. We'll have full details at 5.
Why are women killing themselves?
There is an alarming rise in suicides and especially among middle aged women. We'll take a closer look at this tonight as we talk to a Tuscaloosa attorney who has dealt with her own thoughts of suicide and with the suicides of 3 loved ones.
