Man sentenced for kidnapping son from Vestavia Hills; Clare Huddleston is live with more at 5 a.m.

A man who was convicted of kidnapping his son from Vestavia Hills in 2002 found out his fate yesterday. Bobby Hernandez will serve four years in prison for kidnapping his now 18-year-old son and taking him to Ohio. Clare Huddleston is live at 5 a.m. for more on the sentencing.

Terri Brewer is live at 5:30 a.m. for more on an officer-involved shooting at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex. Police say that Nicholas Bailey fired at two officers who were trying to arrest him. He's facing attempted rape, robbery and attempted murder charges.

Birmingham police arrested 11 people and seized 15 gambling machines in Ensley. Two were arrested for running the operation.
