Good evening from the desk of Jonathan Hardison!

I love the pick-me-up story we're working for WBRC FOX6 News at 9. A Bessemer police officer who responded to a theft call and found a 10-year-old boy whose headphones had been stolen. He went above and beyond to right this wrong and our Jamiese Price is talking to police about why this isn't just an isolated case tonight.
Also at 9 our John Huddleston's working to get new information and reaction to the news we got late today that ALEA used your state tax dollars and a state aircraft to ferry Governor Bentley's wallet from his house in Tuscaloosa to his beach property in Fort Morgan back in December of 2014. New tonight—the warring versions of who OK'd that flight from ALEA's current secretary (who at the time was Bentley's bodyguard) and ALEA's former secretary who says he knew nothing about this.
New on WBRC FOX6 News at 10 our Lydia Hu's sitting down with Commissioner Jeff Dunn of the Alabama Department of Corrections, minutes after he testified before the state legislature. Tonight he's defending his claims that the $800 million prison construction plan won't cost you a dime more in taxes than you're already paying.
