Suspect in custody after firing at Tuscaloosa police; Terri Brewer has more at 7 a.m.

Terri Brewer is on the scene of an officer-involved shooting at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex. A suspect was shot and is in custody after firing at officers at the Aspen Village apartments. She will update us with the latest at 7 a.m.

Also happening today, Bobby Hernandez, the man accused of kidnapping his son from Vestavia Hills in 2002, is scheduled to be sentenced in an Ohio court. Hernandez pleaded guilty to kidnapping last month.

Tuscaloosa police are searching for a missing woman who could be wanted by authorities. Investigators believe that Porsha Hall may be with Sherman Rountree, a suspect in a robbery and armed kidnapping that happened last week.
